Heat pump installation, built by MULTICLIMA Ltd., received the award of Heliotherm: "Heat pump project of the month - October 2011".

The challenge to MULTICLIMA

 
At the end of 2010, Valerii S&M Group assigns MULTICLIMA Ltd., to reduce costs by 70 % for heating and cooling of their own administrative and commercial building with an area of 2500 m2, fully glazed north facade. Until now, the annual costs for heating and cooling of the building were about 25 000 €.

At the beginning of 2011 MULTICLIMA makes exploratory drilling for groundwater. The values are better than expected: flow 5 l/s, ground water with temperature of 14,8 °C. Constructed two wells - for water extraction and reinjection.

Next month was removed old inefficient heating system and built a new one, with heat pumps Heliotherm, Austria.

In March 2011 have made many tests of the installation, with the help of experts from Heliotherm under the control of Harald Henikl.

The results are impressive: it achieves COP of 8.4 The calculations show that the annual costs for heating and cooling will not exceed 5 000 €, savings of up to 20,000 € per year! Repayment period of investment is less than 3 years operation of the installation!
