The Heliotherm Remote Control Gateway enables an innovative system combination between the heat pump and a photovoltaic system. The photovoltaic surplus control is independent from the inverter manufacturer and can be operated with any photovoltaic system, whether single-phase or three-phase, as well as with several photovoltaic systems. A flexible measuring system and intelligent control increases the user's own consumption and reduces costs. The Heliotherm power measuring system is required to measure the power currents. The power current measuring system can measure all types of household and industrial producers and consumers communicating this to the Gateway Remote Control. The Gateway Remote Control evaluates this data, excess solar energy is consumed utmost by the heat pump, stored thermally throughout the building, thus optimizing the own consumption rate.

Type of Connection

Connect via a wcat-Router

Establishes the safest connection between your Heliotherm heat pump and the WEBcontrol AT® control. The from yours.Home network decoupled connection with separate SIM card via a VPN tunnel and // https. ensures maximum Safety. Popular smart home solutions do not meet the security standard.

Connect via a home network (W-LAN)

In most households, a LAN is already provided or active. The connection between the Heliotherm heat pump and the WEBcontrol AT® controller can be established via such a network. The responsibility for the quality, consistency and security of this connection is then in its entirety with the operator of the network.

Direct connection (network cable)

The Heliotherm heat pump and the webcontrolAT® control can also be directly connected via a network cable. This connection is intended for in the event of a wireless network connection failure. The heat pump and all system components can still be controlled but only locally by connecting the terminal to the network cable.
